Since its chartering, the Dover Alumnae Chapter has grown from the original 12 charter members to 188 initiates. For 66 years we have been committed to the ideals of our Founders in order to make our Sorority a major force within our communities. 

Through Delta Sigma Theta's chapters, its members, and its programs, Delta continues to make an impact on the improvement of the quality of life for all humankind.   As a thriving organization, much has been accomplished in Dover, but we still have so much more to be done.   With your continued support of our programs and projects we will continue to have a positive impact on our community through the hard work and dedication of our local chapter members. We strive to implement new initiatives established by the organization's national leadership, not forgetting the concerns of the past, but focusing on the future to meet the ever-growing challenges that affect our communities.
